We flew this time and our plane landed in Bratislava, Slovakia. A short bus trip took us to our hotel in Vienna. Eli loved his new stroller (Mommy's birthday gift!) and Jack his new ride-along "booty-board" (better known as a buggy board). We toured the Old City, rode the trams and undergrounds, played at the sprawling Schönbrunn Palace, swam at the hotel in our newly purchased swimwear, cheered with the soccer crazies in the Wein Fan Zone, and enjoyed local delicacies.

Bamberg and Fussball
Last weekend we made the trip to historic Bamberg to Farewell all of the TDS attorneys leaving Europe this summer. The city is called the Rome of Germany due to its 7 hills and churches. We had a great time and ate some good food. We even found rice and beans for Jack (Eli ate his fair share too).
Jack started another round of kindersports. This week he tried his foot at soccer.

LEGOLAND
Our trip to Legoland is complete. The boys had a blast playing at this amusement part about 3 hours to our southeast between Stuttgart and Munich. We stayed in the quaint town of Gunzburg, with a nice marktplatz where we enjoyed a few restaurants and Eis cafes. Even Oscar made the trip.

Mark and Nicole's visit - Easter 2008
Uncle Mark and Aunt Nicole came to celebrate Easter with us in Germany! Jack was excited to see the much anticipated swing set being put together in the backyard by Daddy and Uncle Mark. The week was filled with German School, bowling, day trips, and lots and lots of playing. We finished the week with a trip to Amsterdam, Holland's Keukenhof Gardens, and Koln's Dom Cathedral. See the picture gallery for more photos.

Jack's 3rd Birthday
Jack turned 3 years old on 22 Feb. Of course we celebrated with his traditional "rice and beans and stuff" dinner, mom and dad's best attempt at Baba's apple cake and lots of presents from family and friends. We then hit the much anticipated Ikea so Jack could play in their play area and ball pit (off-limits to kids under 3!)
Enjoy the pictures in our photo gallery.
