Our Adventure from El Paso to Germany... Pt 1

We began our journey on Aug. 2 with the sale of our house. The car drive to Dallas commenced on Friday, Aug. 3. We are currently spending a few days in the Dallas area before dropping our car off for shipment to Germany and boarding our plane for PA. Today was spent with old friends from San Antonio. Jack has a friend a few months his younger, and Oscar also caught up with an old flame! We have already sampled some food that we have been missing for a few years - Jason's Deli, Cheesecake Factory, and Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen.

Our Moving Days

Thought we'd share a few more pics of the boys, and some parting shots of our house. The first floor is literally wall to wall boxes. One more day until the house is cleared, then we hit the hotel trail until our flight to PA next week. Check out the photo gallery for full size photos.

Eli's Activity Center

Mom dug the activity center out of the closet and Eli has really taken to it. He loves the toys and is already turning himself around to reach everything.

Sunday, July 8th was a big day in the Radio household. Eli rolled over this morning from back to front on his own. Jack sported his "Diego underpants" for the first time and subsequently made four successful trips to the potty -- separated by two small accidents -- but "I tried," as he likes to say.



Mommom and Poppop have been visiting for a few days. They have read LOTS of books and done LOTS of puzzles. We visited the park, Scenic Drive, and Ruidoso, NM. Jack picked the winner in the final horse race, but Mom and Dad forgot to bet!

Off to Casita Linda... ummmm, good... Radios out!

Eli's Baptism Weekend

A trip home to PA was a whirl-wind for us... four short days packed with Nicole's bridal shower, Eli's Baptism, Kristy's 30th birthday, Father's Day, and battles with the flu. It was great seeing everyone. Looking forward to more time in August. Enjoy the pic update in the gallery...

Sorry to pass the bug...

We had a great time visiting everyone in PA, but we find it really hard to believe that we were the SOLE SOURCE of this sickness which spread so quickly. Kristy is still bed-ridden, but so far the boys have avoided it... fingers crossed! We hope you are all feeling well in no time.

Eli finds his toes!

Eli recently found his toes and they seem to be keeping him very happy. Jack had a few more "itches" (boo boos) when he "fell into I's seat and bump my nose!"
